Derrick’s mother, Ella, always kept track of holidays and would ask what special things we had in the store to mark those occasions. Each year when she asked about Easter we always told her about any special chocolate we had brought in. She’d always follow up that answer with “And what else?” This year, in honor of her memory, we went all out!
Our friends at Ethereal Confections supplies us with giant whole organic fair-trade dark chocolate Easter Bunnies, bags of Mini-Bunnies, bags of Bunny Bark (dark chocolate with gummy bunnies), bags of Jelly Bean Bark, and bags of beautiful Dark Chocolate Flowers, Hot Cocoa balls, all in addition to our usual supply of gourmet Dark Chocolate Bars!
Combine those with fillable Easter Eggs and basket filler from our friends at Wrappily in Hawaii, Soapstone Bunnies from Kenya, and beautiful finger puppets (get the bunnies while they last) from Peru, and you’ll make everyone smile!
So, Ella, as we miss you this Easter, one of your favorite holidays, we’ll once again thank you for inspiring us to go all out!
